Possible "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer Midnight Party

There have been a few people asking at the local

Waldenbooks bookstore

in Regency Mall, Racine, Wisconsin

if there is going to be a midnight release party for

Stephenie Meyer's fourth book

in the Twighlight series "Breaking Dawn"

being released 2 August 2008.
The cover for "Breaking Dawn" has not been revealed yet.

http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/breakingdawn.html

The only the way the bookstore can justify doing that is

if there are enough reserves

and people saying they will come.

It costs the store extra money to do this

because the mall has to have security guards working

and to have the security guards unlock a door.

If you would like to do a midnight party

please reserve your copy soon

and tell your family and friends.

The employees at the store had a good time

with the last book

in the Harry Potter series,
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows",
by JK Rowling
midnight party.

The store hopes to have a party and see you there.

If you are unable to come to the party

please still reserve your copy at your closest

Waldenbooks or Borders store.

Summer Reading???

I am curious to know what people plan on reading this summer.

I do not care if it is for school, work, pleasure, to better yourself, whatever.

Please let me know what you are planning on reading.

I am going to do my best to get the following read in no particular order:

1. "Dreamsongs" volumes 1 & 2 by George R.R. Martin.

( I bought these when they first came out and still have not read them.)

2. "The Appeal" by John Grisham

3. All of Sunny's books

(I still need to buy them though--lol).

A note this is not your typical romance.
These books are considered Erotica

and are not usually found

mixed in with the "regular" romance.

4. The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyers

5. Girl Sleuth:
Nancy Drew and the Women Who Created Her
by Melanie Rehak

6. Damien by Jacquelyn Frank

7. The Host by Stephenie Meyer

I think that is a good start.

I might even throw in some real guilty pleasure reading like

the Lucky series by Jackie Collins.

A customer came in where I work the other day

and ordered the early books to re-read

because there is a new book coming out in the series.

Please Please let everyone know what your summer reading is going to be.

Contests, Author, Book Signings, Etc. Information Wanted

I give honest reviews and always say whether I bought, won, or was given an advanced reader copy (ARC) or was just given a book by an author or as a gift. I am not a professional author, publisher, et cetera and as of this moment do not get paid for my reviews.

I did work in a book store for a while until it closed in January of 2009. I like to read and read a variety of books. I buy most of the books I read, but would love to receive ARCs or free books.

I read old and new books and there are only a handful of people who's reviews I enjoy reading and I do not let them influence me much (except in maybe I will pick up a book even if that reviewer does not like it). Everyone's taste is different and if I like something does not mean somebody else will.

If you are an author, publisher, blogger, or et cetera and would like me to read something of yours or want to add information to my blog please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you very much for reading and supporting my blog.

You may contact me through my e-mail

(marylsracine@aol.com or
schneidermaryl@yahoo.com or
private message me on Facebook).
